Windsor Hall, which has served as a location for performances, concerts & recitals, parties, reunions, wedding receptions, meetings and conferences in Downtown Cumberland is bringing down the final curtain tonight. The Western Maryland Area Health Education Center (AHEC), a community-based organization to improve access to and promote quality in health care has moved into the building from its former location at the old Memorial Hospital facility. David Kauffman and his wife Jennifer opened Windsor Hall back in 2006 and he tells WCBC News that timing was not the best to begin the venture.
