For Central Allegany County and to the east…

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS
EVENING TO 7 AM EST THURSDAY...

* PRECIPITATION TYPE...Snow.

* ACCUMULATIONS...Snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches.

* TIMING...Late tonight through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...The snow will create snow covered roads.

* WINDS...North 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* TEMPERATURES...Low to mid 30s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
driving.

For the mountains…

WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 PM
EST THURSDAY...

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a Winter
Storm Warning for snow...which is in effect from 7 PM this
evening to 7 PM EST Thursday. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer
in effect.

* ACCUMULATIONS...Snow accumulation of 6 to 8 inches.

* HAZARD TYPES...Snow

* TIMING...the heaviest snow is expected late this evening into
  Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Snow covered roads will make travel treacherous...with
  very low visibility at times in blowing snow.

* WINDS...Northwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow are
expected. Strong winds are also possible. This will make travel
very hazardous.
