The National Weather Service is calling for severe winter conditions over the next 24 hours.

WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST
TUESDAY...
* PRECIPITATION TYPE...SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN.
* ACCUMULATION...2 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW AND SLEET. AROUND A QUARTER INCH
OF ICE FROM FREEZING RAIN.
* TIMING...SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TODAY BEFORE CHANGING TO
SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN THIS EVENING. PRECIPITATION WILL
CHANGE TO RAIN TUESDAY MORNING.
* WINDS...SOUTHEAST 5 TO 10 MPH...GUSTS UP TO 20 MPH AT HIGHER
ELEVATIONS.
* TEMPERATURES...LOW 20S THIS MORNING...SLOWLY RISING TO 30
DEGREES THROUGH THIS EVENING. TEMPERATURES RISE ABOVE FREEZING
OVERNIGHT FROM SOUTHEAST TO NORTHWEST LATE TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY
MORNING.
* IMPACTS...SNOW AND ICE WILL CAUSE SLIPPERY ROADS AND TRAVEL
WILL BE DIFFICULT.
