Winter Weather Advisory Takes Effect At 7 AM

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TO 7 PM EST SUNDAY… 



* WHAT…A wintry mix of snow…sleet and freezing rain expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations of one half inch or less. Glaze ice accumulation from freezing rain is expected to be one tenth of an inch or less. 



* WHERE…Portions of central, north central and western Maryland, northern and northwest Virginia and eastern and panhandle West Virginia. 



* WHEN…Snow…sleet and freezing rain will overspread the area between 7 AM and 10 AM. It will change to plain rain or end by 7 PM. 



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Plan on slippery road conditions. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.



* AFFECTED AREAS: CENTRAL AND EASTERN ALLEGANY … EXTREME WESTERN ALLEGANY … FREDERICK … NORTHWEST MONTGOMERY … WASHINGTON
