IN THE CUMBERLAND AREA:

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BALTIMORE MD/WASHINGTON HAS

ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW… WHICH IS IN EFFECT

FROM 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 3 AM EST FRIDAY.

* PRECIPITATION TYPE…SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS…1 TO 2 INCHES…LOCALLY 3 INCHES.

* TIMING…SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA LATE THIS AFTERNOON

  CONTINUING INTO THE OVERNIGHT.

* IMPACTS…TRAVEL MAY BECOME DIFFICULT DUE TO REDUCED

  VISIBILITIES AND SNOW COVERED AND ICY ROADS.

* WINDS…SOUTHWEST 5 TO 10 MPH…BECOMING NORTHWEST.

* TEMPERATURES…DROPPING FROM THE LOW 30S TO THE MID 20S THIS

  EVENING.

IN THE FROSTBURG AREA & GEORGES CREEK:

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST FRIDAY...

* PRECIPITATION TYPE...SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 5 INCHES.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA BY EARLY AFTERNOON AND
  CONTINUE THROUGH TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL MAY BECOME DIFFICULT DUE TO REDUCED
  VISIBILITIES AND SNOW COVERED AND ICY ROADS.

* WINDS...WEST 5 TO 10 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE LOWER 20S.
