The Mayor and City Council hopes to see some work begin on the combined sewer overflow (CSO) project at the Mason Sports Complex in south Cumberland begin before winter. Several years ago the state of Maryland mandates towns and municipalities to upgrade CSO operations- even though the overall price tag for such projects can run into the tens of millions of dollars.
