WV AG to speak to attend Mineral County Day of Prayer events

West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey will be the featured speaker for the noon National Day of Prayer event on Thursday, May 2. Morrisey is in his second term of serving West Virginia as attorney general. In that position, he has won a number of lawsuits relating to the state and national opioid crisis, the Affordable Care Act, Clean Power Act, and more. National Day of Prayer will kick off with the traditional breakfast at 8 a.m. that day at the Ponderosa in Keyser. Guest speaker for that event will be Michele Perrera, senior pastor of Woodlawn Christian Fellowship in Gwynn Oak, Maryland, and founder of His Heart Ministry.
Attorney General Morrisey also plans to attend the breakfast. Tickets for the breakfast are $15 and may be purchased by contacting NDP coordinator Gordon Brubaker at 304-788-1910 or Frances Jones, co-coordinator, at 301-268-4479.
