West Virginia Governor Earl Ray Tomblin this week announced $100,000 in Growing Healthy Community Grants, with over a third of that amount coming to cities in our region. Charles Town will receive $20,000 and a little less than that will go to Martinsburg in the Eastern Panhandle. The money is targeted for walkability and worksite wellness program.
