The Allegany County Animal Shelter is holding an open house and volunteer fair October 22, 11:30-4:00 in conjunction with National Shelter Month. Tina Rafferty, Executive Director, and Patty Collison, Shelter Manager, will be conducting a tour of the shelter and will talk about the exciting changes that are taking place, including a new on-site vet clinic and new outside housing for the dogs. We will also be showcasing our new outside dog play area. Come learn more about these new changes, our planned fall and winter events, and events planned for 2017!
