May 19th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

The Allegany County Health Department reports that a Cumberland Healthcare Center employee has tested positive for COVID-19.  This brings the county’s total number of cases to 165.  So far, the virus has claimed the lives of 16 Allegany County residents.

With the “Stay at Home” order lifted and replaced by the State’s “Safer at Home” guidance, the health department stresses the importance of continuing to wear face coverings when out in public and maintaining social distancing of at least six feet between people.  Wash and sanitize your hands often, and clean and sanitize frequently-touched surfaces.

I have noticed a lot of people are wearing their mask WRONG…
People need to wear their mask’s to cover their noses as well as their mouths. A lot of people are wearing the masks under their noses..
Noses are part of the respiratory system…It needs to be covered….
If it fogs up your glasses, have the metal piece secured around your nose and your glasses can fit over the area around your nose. That blocks respiration’s from coming up and fogging your glasses.
