On Friday,  at 9:27 AM, the Cumberland Police responded to First United Bank, on Harrison Street in Cumberland, after a hold up alarm was received from that location. Through interviews Investigators learned that the suspect had first approached the bank prior to when the bank opened at 9:00 AM. The suspect tried the door, found it was still locked, and left at that time, headed toward Queen City Drive.

A short time later the suspect returned to the bank, and it was at that time that the suspect approached the teller and presented the note to the them. Investigators were able to review surveillance video and determined that the suspect fled the bank on foot, ran through the bank parking lot, and headed south on Queen City Drive, in the direction of Roy Rogers and Peppers.

The suspect is a white male, wearing a black hoodie and lighter colored pants, possibly gray in color, and gloves. The suspect was wearing what is believed to be a fake, blond colored wig, a fake, dark colored beard, dark sunglasses, and had the hood pulled up around his face, all to try to disguise his identity.
