On Tuesday, November 11th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Dion Anthony Alves on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on November 10th, 2025. On that date, it is alleged that Alves failed to appear in District Court for a previous charge of knowingly driving an uninsured vehicle.  He was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center for an initial appearance, where he was later released on a $2,500 unsecured bond.

Arrest: Dion Anthony Alves , Age 53, Cumberland, Maryland.
Charge: Bench Warrant- Failure to Appear
