Big Week For Maryland Delegation At DNC

It’s been a big week for the Maryland delegation in attendance at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia starting with Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings Blake gaveling the session open on Monday and culminating with retiring U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski nominating Hillary Clinton on Tuesday night. In addition, former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley- who ran for president- was a keynote speaker.  Robin Summerfield, an Allegany County resident and Western Maryland representative for U.S. Senator Ben Cardin, is a delegate for Clinton in Philadelphia.  He said he expects a tremendous show of party unity when the convention wraps Thursday night.  He expects Secretary Clinton to focus on what the Democratic Party can do for the country as opposed to criticizing GOP nominee Donald Trump…
