BOE Members on Dave Norman Show

Allegany County Board of Education members Tammy Fraley and Deb Frank discussed a wide range of issues during an appearance Thursday on WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show” including the interim superintendent selection process and the sometimes combative relationship between the board members.

Earlier this week the board voted to select chief administrative officer Jeff Blank as the interim superintendent. The vote was 3-0 vote with Fraley and Frank calling the process tainted choosing to abstaind. Their chief objection was with the participation of member Wayne Foote who is facing possible expulsion from the board for misconduct. A state witness in the case is one of the applicant Dr Kim Kalbaugh. Frank said that while it might not meet the legal definition of conflict of interest- she believes there is clearly an ethical concern…
