On Friday, Cumberland City Police served a Criminal Summons on Tyrell Aaron Morris, 25, of Cumberland. The summons was in reference to an incident on March 25th, 2021, at a residence in the 400 block of Virginia Ave.
During that incident, it is alleged that Morris tried to gain entry into the residence by attempting to kick the door in. Morris was charged with 1st and 4th degree burglary, malicious destruction of property, disorderly conduct, and disturbing the peace.
Morris was served the Summons and released, pending trial in District Court.
