Commissioner Candidates Discuss Cumberland Chase Investment

The county’s investment in the former Cumberland Chase development project on U.S. Route 220 was one of the topics addressed this week as the Republican candidates vying for a seat on the Allegany County Board of Commissioners participated in WCBC’s candidates forum. The forum featuring the commissioners candidates was the only one held during this campaign season. The project,  a 250-acre subdivision was begun nearly nine years ago before stalling.
