Allegany County officials were expecting a contract proposal from DelFest representatives over the weekend- with the hope being that a vote to approve a new multiyear deal could take place at Thursday’s public business meeting. It was December of last year, more than ten months ago, when Commissioner Bill Valentine announced at a public meeting that a new five year contract had been agreed too. It turns out the deal was not official, and a number of issues still needed to be resolved. Commissioner Jake Shade said he believes most of those hurdles have now been cleared…
