Efforts to hire correctional officers are continuing in three one-day hiring beginning today at Allegany College of Maryland. For three days, October 18, 19 and 20 from 9 (a.m.) to 6 (p.m.), the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services will have a team of recruiters ready to hire qualified men and women. The events are designed to speed up the hiring process by allowing candidates to get almost everything done except the background check in one day, and in one place.
