On 11/19/17 The Cumberland Police Dept served an bench warrant on 19 year old Arthur Bunbasi Jr of Cumberland. The warrant stems from Bunbasi failing to appear in District Court on an original charge of Theft. Bunbasi was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where he was released on his personal recognizance pending trial.
Hit ad Run
On 11/19/17 Officers with the Cumberland Police Dept responded to the 600blk of Bedford St for a report of a hit and run. Upon arrival Officers contacted the victim who advised that sometime during the day an unknown vehicle struck their vehicle which was parked and unoccupied. The victim’s vehicle sustained damage to the rear driver side fender and bumper areas. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time. Anyone who may have information is asked to contact the Cumberland Police Dept at 301-777-1600.
