December 12th, 2019 by WCBC Radio

On Wednesday, December 11th, 2019 the Cumberland Police Department responded to an E. Oldtown Road residence for the report of loud yelling and someone was overheard stating they needed an ambulance.  When officers arrived, they were met at the door by a male later identified as Brian Adam Fisher.  Fisher was questioned about the complaint but would not provide police with his identity.  Officers then learned that there was a female inside the residence and Fisher was told they need to make a check on her to make sure that she didn’t need medical attention.  Fisher became confrontational with officers and would not allow them enter the residence.  Fisher was advised several times that if he hindered their investigation he would be arrested.  He told officers to go ahead and arrest him and at that time, he was placed under arrest.  After Fisher’s arrest, a female was located inside the apartment with a head injury and requested an ambulance.  The Cumberland Fire Department responded and treated the female.  Fisher was charged with obstructing and hindering and taken to the Allegany County Detention Center to await a bond review before the District Court Commissioner.

Brian Adam Fisher, age; 30, Cumberland, Maryland.
