On Thursday August 17, 2017, at 11:00 am, Cumberland City Police officers responded to the pedestrian walking area of the downtown mall in reference to a disturbance. Investigation into this matter revealed that Yolanda Bauman, age 50 of Cumberland, Maryland was acting in a disorderly manner as she was observed yelling obscenities to the general public. Bauman was placed in custody, transported to the Cumberland City Police Department where she was processed and served. She was criminally cited and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.
