Just a month after being promoted to the position of executive director of the Downtown Development Commission- Steve Leyh has informed the DDC that he will be stepping down from the post to pursue another opportunity. Prior to being named executive director last month, Leyh had served three years as the DDC’s Promotions Director. He tells WCBC News the job he is taking in neighboring West Virginia was simply too good an opportunity to pass up. He said the decision is bitter-sweet pointing out that the city is on the cusp bringing several important economic development projects to fruition.
