In an effort to extract some political capital out of Governor Larry Hogan’s surprise Friday bomb shell that he would support a ban on fracking- the District 1 Delegation will be meeting today to put together a “wish list” for western Maryland. State Senator George Edwards along with Delegates Wendell Beitzel, Jason Buckle and Mike McKay are all strong supporters of allowing fracking for the economically distressed region- envisioning a tremendous shot in the arm via a new revenue stream that could be in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
