(Hancock, MD) — Eastbound I-70 remains closed from the Pennsylvania line to Hancock, but a detour has been set up around the scene of two serious crashes that occurred there early this morning. If travel cannot be delayed, those traveling east through the area are encouraged to take Md Rt. 522 south toward Hancock to Rt. 144. Take Rt. 144 east through Hancock and back to eastbound I-70.
