Few Minor Issues To Be Approved Before Official Vote On Fire Fighter Contract

Back in September of 2014, after a two year dispute, the Cumberland Mayor and City Council approved a three year contract with the International Association of Fire Fighters.  Last week the council voted to table authorizing the execution of a second amendment to the IAFF Local 1715 Collective Bargaining Agreement. There is no cause for concern however, as city administrator Jeff Rhodes said the amendment has essentially been agreed upon by both sides, but some final few minor issues needed to be approved prior to an official vote…..
