Fire Marshal Blames Mount Savage Fire On Flue

Last night’s fire in Mount Savage was caused by an overheated flue pipe coming from wood stove.  The Maryland Fire Marshal’s report say the blaze on New Row Road did $80,000 in damage to the structure and contents at the John Nolan residence, and one occupant had to be taken to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.
