A Raleigh County judge has issued a permanent injunction in favor of granting religious exemptions from vaccine requirements in West Virginia. The decision mandates that the West Virginia Board of Education abide by the Equal Protection Act of 2023, allowing children with a religious exemption through the state department of health to attend school. Forty-five states have clear religious or philosophical exemption for vaccines.
