The Cumberland Street Department will begin leaf collection for residences within the city limits of Cumberland on Monday, October 23, 2017. Residents may also bag leaves and place them at the curb on their regular trash days. Burgmeier Hauling will collect up to 8 bags of trash, including leaves. The schedule is listed below and is also posted on the City's website (www.ci.cumberland.md.us). Contact the Public Works Department at 301-759-6620 for additional information.
Leaf Collection Schedule for 2017
October 23 – October 27:
SETON DRIVE AREA (Seton Drive, Bishop Walsh Road and all connecting streets)
October 30 – November 3:
UPPER WEST SIDE (All streets North of Greene Street to Wills Creek, including Braddock Road)
November 6 – 9:
LOWER WEST SIDE (All streets South of Greene Street to Kelly Boulevard and the Dingle Area)
November 13 – 17:
NORTH END (All streets between Frederick Street to the city limits on Piedmont Avenue)
November 20 – 22:
EAST SIDE (All streets between Williams Street and Frederick Street) and the DOWNTOWN AREA
November 27 – December 1:
MAPLE SIDE (All streets between Oldtown Road and Williams Street and all streets between Oldtown Road and Industrial Boulevard)
December 4 – 5:
SOUTH END (All streets West of Virginia Avenue to Industrial Boulevard and all streets below Virginia Avenue underpass)
