At approximately 12:15 AM Sunday, Cumberland Police Officers were dispatched to a Boone Street residence for a disturbance.
Upon the arrival of officers they located Markel Davon Whitfield. Whitfield was wanted in the state of West Virginia for larceny. A fugitive from justice warrant was filed on Whitfield at District Court.
Whitfield was held at the Allegany County Detention Center pending extradition back to Mineral County, West Virginia.
