A new space lab experience will be part of the STEM Festival Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. The Mineral County STEM Network will host the sixth annual Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Festival for area students and parents on the West Virginia University Potomac State College campus. The Out of this World: Space Lab will be presented by the University of Maryland Extension-Garrett County 4-H Tech Wizard. The event is coordinated by partners with the Mineral County STEM network, whose purpose is to increase communication among individuals, business, industry and organizations interested in encouraging youth to consider the different STEM fields for careers.
