The National Weather Service in Sterling Va has issued a flood
warning for the following rivers in Maryland...

Georges Creek at Westernport affecting Allegany County

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The National Weather Service in Sterling Va has issued a
* Flood Warning for
  The Georges Creek at Westernport.
* From this evening until late Sunday night.
* At 11 AM Saturday the stage was 5.7 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late this evening and crest
  near 8.6 feet by tomorrow morning. The river will fall below flood
  stage by late tomorrow evening.
* Impact...At 9.0 feet...Water begins to overflow out of Georges
  Creek into low-lying areas of the city of Westernport.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 8.1 feet
  on Sep 28 2018.
