On Wednesday, June 19th, 2019, the Cumberland City Police responded to a residence in the 900 block of Old Williams Rd for a reported assault. Once on scene, officers contacted the victim of the alleged assault and a witness. They advised that the victim told officers that an argument had ensued in the residence between the victim and Ashley Regina Kline. The victim and witness both advised that Kline then pushed the victim multiple times and scratched the victim’s face. Due to the victim’s statements and the visible signs of injuries, Kline was placed under arrest and transported to the station. Kline was taken before the District Court Commissioner for her initial appearance where she was released on her own personal recognizance.

Charges: Assault 2nd Degree
