On Friday,  the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Lisa Flora Breiterman.  The warrant was issued by District Court when application was made by Cumberland Police for incident investigated back on May 17^th, 2018 at the Allegany County Animal Shelter.  According to Animal Shelter representatives, Breiterman was under investigation for an animal cruelty complaint and base upon that investigation, Allegany County Animal Control removed 3 dogs and a cat.  Breiterman was later captured on camera at the Animal Shelter trying to locate her dogs and cat and shows her removing some animals from the property.  The stolen animals were later located at Breiterman’s house and again Animal Control took custody them.  She was taken before the District Court Commissioner and was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held on a temporary commitment.

 

Lisa Flora Breiterman, age; 40, Cumberland, Maryland.

Charges:  Burglary 2^nd and 4^th degree, animal cruelty, and theft $100-

$1,500.

 

 

 

On Friday, May 18^th, 2018 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Algie Darnell Gray.  The warrant was issued by District Court when application was made about an incident that was reported to have taken place on Race Street on May 15^th, 2018.   According to the report, Gray allegedly got into a confrontation with the complainant and stabbed him in the lip with a knife.  He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.

 

Algie Darnell Gray, age; 33, Cumberland, Maryland.

Charges:  Assault 1^st and 2^nd degree.
