The American Road and Transportation Builders Association recently published a report rating the nation’s 612,677 bridges. Maryland ranks 12th best in the nation for the number of bridges determined to be deficient. 300 of Maryland’s over 5,000 bridges were deemed to be deficient with 96 of those residing in Maryland’s 6th Congressional District.
The state of Maryland has identified over 1,500 bridges that are in need of repair with a total estimated cost of $1.7 Billion. The 6th Congressional District has 492 bridges in need of repair at an estimated cost of $285 Million…
