On Friday, officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to a business on Virginia Avenue for a shoplifting complaint.
The staff reported that the suspect, Cherokee Logsdon, stole merchandise from the store.
After investigation, Logsdon was arrested, processed, and released on a criminal citation pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.
