The City of Cumberland Water Department is reporting an emergency shutdown due to a 6" water main break on Massachusetts Avenue.
The area affected includes Massachusetts Avenue from Grant Street to Oldtown Road. Massachusetts Avenue will also be closed from First Street to Grant Street.
The department apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks the public for its patience while the crew works to repair the problem.
