At approximately 2000 hours officers responded to a Maryland Avenue residence for a report of a stabbing.  Officers arrived and found one subject bleeding as a result of an assault. Officers encountered numerous subjects inside the residence.  Once the scene was secure Cumberland Fire Department Ambulance arrived on the scene and began to the treat the patient. Officers photographed the scene, collected evidence as well as talked to witnesses and determined that no stabbing occurred. At the conclusion of their investigation officers took Chelsy Rose Wilt into custody for assault.  Jeremy Colt Moyers was also taken into custody by officers a short time later. Wilt and Moyers were processed before being taken to District Court for their initial appearance. At the conclusion of the hearings both subjects were transported to the Allegany County Detention Center where they were both held on a $2,500.00 bond.
