October’s General Revenue Fund collections in West Virginia totaled almost $418 million dollars, exceeding the monthly estimate of $376 million. Receipts were also 6.1% higher year over year. Year-to-date collections now stand at $1.8 million – nearly $103 million dollars over estimates and running 5.2% ahead of prior year collections. Governor Morrisey said he was encouraged by trending growth in spending and income.
