Casinos Close to $170 Million For May

Almost $170 million dollars in revenue came through Maryland’s six casinos in May. The statewide total was a 3.7% drop compared to last year. Revenue to the state in taxes totaled $75.1 million, including $54 million to the state education trust fund. MGM National Harbor with 214 table games and 2,200 slot machines brought in $69 million in revenue for the month. Allegany County’s Rocky Gap Casino took in $5 million, a slight increase over last year’s numbers.
