On Sunday, December 28th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Samad Jabri Waller, 38, of Cumberland MD. Waller was arrested on four active Bench Warrants, all issued by the Allegany County District Court. Three warrants, issued on August 13th, 2025, allege Waller violated the terms of probation that had been placed upon him due to previous convictions on charges of resisting arrest and destruction of property. A fourth warrant, issued on November 14th, 2025, alleges Waller failed to appear in District Court for a previous charge of CDS paraphernalia possession. He was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held on a total of $6,500 bond.

On Sunday, December 28th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Amber Rose Westfall, 30, of Cumberland MD. Westfall was arrested on three active Bench Warrants issued by the Allegany County District Court on October 22nd, 2025. All three warrants allege Westfall failed to comply with orders of the court that had been placed upon her due to previous charges that include theft, burglary, trespassing, obstructing, and CDS possession. She was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where she was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center.She is currently being held without bond.
