HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER NEWS
WCBC Sports has learned that Coach Tim Nightengale has announced his retirement from coaching soccer at Mountain Ridge. Including his time at Beall, Nightengale posted a 4-0 record in state championships, winning one at Beall in 2004, back to back titles at Mountain Ridge 2010-2011, as well as one in 2019. He coached a record 17 teams to area titles. Coach Nightengale will still coach the boys basketball team at Mountain Ridge. Congratulations to Coach Nightengale for your hard work and dedication to local student-athletes, and a job well done!
