Wind Advisory Sunday

National Weather Service has issues a Wind Advisory for today from 10 AM this morning to midnight tonight. West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected for portions of western Maryland, central, northwest, and
western Virginia, and eastern West Virginia.

Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Strongest winds will come with a surge directly along the front between 10am and 1pm Sunday. A secondary surge in wind is likely late afternoon into early evening. Strongest winds during both of these time periods will be along
the ridges with slightly lower values in the valleys.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
