250 Miles for America’s 250th

For America’s 250th birthday celebration, the Maryland Park Service is challenging visitors to walk 250 miles this year. The “Miles for Maryland” Trail Challenge began January 1st and goes through December 31st and teams and hikers can register for $25 to receive a keepsake item. Those who hike 250 miles in Maryland State Parks in 2026 will be entered into a prize drawing. Mileage be completed in Maryland State Parks and logged each month.
