School Board Re-Elects Bender

At Tuesday’s board meeting of the Allegany County Board of Education, an election of officers was held. Superintendent Dr. Michael Martirano oversaw the election where Crystal Bender was nominated to serve another year as president of the board and Dr. David Bohn was nominated to be vice-president. Board members voted unanimously to accept the two nominations. The board also passed two policies concerning school attendance and staff conduct with students during the meeting.
