Wineow Street Trespassing Arrest

Chris Myers

On Wednesday, January 14th, 2026, officers with the Cumberland Police Department responded to a business located on Wineow Street for a trespassing and suspicious activity complaint. Employees of the business reported that an unidentified male was in the parking lot pulling on vehicle door handles. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Brit Redden. It was determined that Redden did not have permission to be on the property, and had been trespassed by the business management. Officers also reviewed video surveillance from the business, which showed Redden pulling on vehicle door handles in the parking lot. Redden was placed under arrest. Redden was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center. He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing. At the conclusion, he posted a $1,000 unsecured personal bond.
