VIOLATION OF PROBATION ARREST

On Thursday, January 15th, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Matthew Ryan O’Reilly, 33, of Cumberland, MD. Miller was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on January 9th, 2026. The warrant alleged O’Reilly violated the terms and conditions of probation that had been placed upon due to a previous conviction of Assault Second Degree. O’Reilly was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance, where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held without bond.
