Frontieras Announces $850M West Virginia Investment

Kathy Cornwell

Mason County, West Virginia will be the new home of a state of the art coal reformation facility that will create more than 2,000 construction jobs and lead to over 200 full-time positions. Governor Patrick Morrisey made the announcement Monday, saying the $850 million dollar project by Frontieras aligns with the state’s 50×50 energy generation plan.  The facility will deploy the patented FASForm process that converts coal into fuels, fertilizers, and industrial carbon products with zero waste and no emissions.
