Commissioners, D.R. Horton Execute Agreement

The Allegany County Commissioners have sent a finalized land development agreement to D.R. Horton for the housing project at the former Allegany High School site.  The agreement is for a proposed 65-unit housing development that will be called the Village Crossing At Campobello. County Attorney Lee Beeman said the document is needed to get things moving on the project…

“The primary thing that we’ve done here is put in place some protections and procedures that outline how the properties are being conveyed to Horton as we go along and sort of what remedies and protections we have in the event the project doesn’t go as planned.”
