ICE Facility Confirmed For Washington County

A release from Congresswoman April McClain Delaney says that confirmation has been received that Immigration and Custom Enforcement officials have purchased a facility in Washington County. A warehouse on Wright Road in Williamsport, Maryland was indicated in circuit court records. Delaney said she is in contact with the governor’s office and other local leaders about the purchase. The price is for the property, according to Senator Chris Van Hollen, is $100 million dollars and will hold over 1,000 detainees.
