Arch Street Arrest Warrant

Chris Myers

Chris Myers is the Morning Show Producer, Broadcaster, at WCBC Radio in Cumberland, Maryland. Myers handles various operational, engineering duties for the station and directs the morning news. In addition to his broadcasting role, Myers is a prominent downtown Cumberland businessman and an active community member who helps organize local events. Myers has been with the Cumberland Broadcasting Company, which operates WCBC, since August 2019 and began his career in radio broadcasting at the age of 14 as a board engineer for WQOL in Florida. In 1998 he was promoted to Chief Engineer for WTTB 1490AM and WGYL 93.7FM. In 2001 Treasure Coast broadcasters purchased additional stations WOSN, WPAW and WGNX.

On Sunday, February 1, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Levi Jones. The warrant was issued in connection with a hit and run incident that occurred on January 31, 2026 at approximately 2:35 AM in the first block of Arch Street. Officers located the suspect vehicle unoccupied on Race Street. Officers later contacted the owner of the vehicle, Levi Jones, at his residence. He provided officers with information that was later determined to be false. Through further investigation, officers were able to identify the operator of the suspect vehicle as Levi Jones. Police filed for charges against Jones at the District Court of Allegany County. He was arrested and transported to Central Booking. He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and posted a $2,500 unsecured personal bond.
